Photographs: 1998-2008 contains eight series of photographs beginning with my first experiments in digital photography. It includes my earliest efforts with digital cameras, Irish Tourist Magnets, 68 Heroes, 1 Heroine, Bullet Train Blues, and Bombmakers. The work develops along with my use of technology with the performative piece The Artist Referees the Real Deal Evander Holyfield. The volume concludes with the Divine Comedy, After Abu Ghraib, and American Heroes (After Houdon.) Throughout this decade I was learning and exploring digital software, glitching, and learning the techniques of digital photography.
