Self portraits of the aging artist is a time honored practice. This short series is my photo essay on aging takes a satirical look at how we are viewed by younger generations who have crafted terms for baby boomers like myself. Most of the words and phrases indicate our uselessness. I am my posing in a silk suit I wore when I was 30 years old, pushing back against the notion that elders have nothing to offer once they pass the age of 40 in a culture obsessed with youth and body appearance.
