I Found Jesus In My Food!

The series I Found Jesus In My Food (2009-2010) came into being after visiting the infamous “Jesus Christ in a flour tortilla” shrine in Lake Arthur, New Mexico. After meditating on the importance of faith in our lives, I began to invite friends to lunch and assured them they would ‘miraculously’ find Jesus in their food and proceeded to photograph them in their performative, miraculous moment.
